Pay: ₦80k - ₦100k
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Graphic Design Tutor to train and mentor students in developing practical design skills for the digital workplace. The tutor will deliver engaging lessons, guide students through creative projects and help learners build strong design portfolios.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver live and/or self-paced Graphic Design training sessions
- Teach core graphic design skills including: Design principles and fundamentals, Typography and layout design, Colour theory and visual communication, Branding and identity design, Social media graphics creation, Marketing and promotional designs, Content creation for digital platforms, Design thinking and creative problem-solving
- Train students on relevant design tools such as: Canva, Adobe Photos hop, Adobe Illustrator & Figma (where applicable)
- Create practical assignments, design projects, and assessments
- Review student designs and provide constructive feedback
- Guide students in building professional design portfolios
- Mentor students on industry practices and client expectations
- Stay updated with current design trends, tools, and creative workflows
- Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment
*Requirements*
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Design Instructor
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects
- Good knowledge of graphic design tools and workflows
- Ability to teach design concepts to beginners
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
- Ability to provide practical, project-based training
