Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of network systems and data.
* Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint security tools.
* Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses.
* Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing root cause analysis and preventive measures.
* Ensure compliance with company security policies and relevant regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with IT and management teams to strengthen the company’s cybersecurity posture.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Network or Security Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in managing routers, switches, and network security devices.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or related) will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and start immediately.
