"Platform" refers to the RecruitNG website and all associated services.
"Candidate" refers to any user who registers to seek employment opportunities.
"Employer" refers to any user or organization that registers to post job listings and recruit candidates.
"Content" refers to any text, images, documents, or other materials uploaded to the Platform.
"Subscription" refers to a paid plan that grants access to premium features.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You may register using your email address and password, or through third-party authentication services (Google, LinkedIn). You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on RecruitNG.
4. User Responsibilities
All Users agree to:
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes related to employment and recruitment
Not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or Platform systems
Not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to collect data from the Platform
Not harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
Comply with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations
Candidates additionally agree to:
Provide truthful information in their profiles, resumes, and job applications
Not apply for jobs with the intent to spam or mislead employers
Employers additionally agree to:
Post only legitimate job openings with accurate descriptions and requirements
Not use candidate information for purposes other than recruitment
Comply with Nigerian labour laws, including the Labour Act and any applicable anti-discrimination regulations
Not require candidates to pay fees as a condition of employment
5. Job Listings
Employers are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of their job listings. RecruitNG reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any job listing that:
Contains false or misleading information
Promotes illegal activities or violates applicable laws
Discriminates based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, disability, or other protected characteristics
Requires candidates to make payments or purchase products
Violates these Terms of Service
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of the Platform require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:
All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and include applicable taxes
Payments are processed securely through Paystack, our third-party payment provider
Subscriptions grant access to features as described on the relevant plan page
Subscription benefits are valid for the duration specified in your chosen plan
We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers
Refund Policy: Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis if submitted within 7 days of payment and if the subscribed features were not substantially used. Contact support@recruitng.com for refund inquiries.
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of RecruitNG and is protected by Nigerian copyright and intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, company profiles, job descriptions). By uploading content, you grant RecruitNG a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and use that content as necessary to operate the Platform and provide our services.
8. Content Moderation
RecruitNG reserves the right to remove or modify any content that violates these Terms, is reported by other users, or is deemed inappropriate. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
RecruitNG is a platform that connects candidates and employers. We do not guarantee:
That candidates will receive job offers or be hired
That employers will find suitable candidates
The accuracy of information provided by other users
Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, RecruitNG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. RecruitNG makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform's fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be free of viruses or other harmful components.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
RecruitNG may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
You violate these Terms of Service
Your account is used for fraudulent or illegal activities
You provide false information during registration
Your account poses a security risk to other users or the Platform
You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved as follows:
Informal Resolution: You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute by contacting us at support@recruitng.com.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be brought before the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
